Quick fixes

Most extension issues are solved by one of these checks.

01

Sign in first

Sign in at promptbookmarks.com using the same Chrome profile where the extension is installed.

02

Open a single X post

Navigate to an individual post on x.com or twitter.com. Wait for its text and image to finish loading before opening the extension.

03

Refresh and retry

If the extension cannot read the post, refresh the tab, reopen the post, and click the Prompt Bookmarks icon again.

04

Check the extension

Open chrome://extensions, confirm Prompt Bookmarks is enabled, then reload it and try again.

Common questions

A few useful details

Why does the extension ask me to sign in on the website?

The extension uses your Prompt Bookmarks website session to save prompts to your account. Sign in on the website and keep both the site and extension in the same Chrome profile.

What access does the extension use?

It reads the active X or Twitter post when you invoke it, stores extension preferences, and connects to promptbookmarks.com to create your bookmark. It does not need access to unrelated websites.

Where will my saved prompt appear?

After creation, open My Bookmarks from your profile menu. If a new item is not visible immediately, refresh the page and confirm you are signed into the same account.

How do I request account or data help?

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, or other secrets.
